After several works created over the years, this year artist Francesco Franz Avancini is shaping a pack of wolves, positioned on the ridge above the Buffaure basin.
The Trentino artist, who has been on the scene for twenty years with countless spectacular creations behind him, has recreated a giant wooden eagle on Buffaure, a hiking area that can be reached from Pozza di Fassa by cable car, using carved larch boards.
Summer 2023 at the BUFFAURE is coming to an end. The cable car from Pozza to Buffaure will also be open on the weekend of 30/09 – 01/10. Come and visit us, we are waiting for you.
At the arrival of the Pozza-Buffaure cableway, five giant deckchairs welcome visitors and allow them to enjoy a moment of relaxation with a view on the Dolomites: a perfect opportunity for original high-altitude selfies. At the top of the Valvacin chairlift stands a bench with butterfly wings, for truly unique dreamy shots.
Surrounded by magnificent nature Buffaure offers a privileged view of the most beautiful and spectacular Dolomite peaks both in summer and in winter
