This fascinating area of the Val di Fassa (north-eastern Trentino), whose volcanic origin has profoundly characterised its landscape, is located above the village of Pozza di Fassa, in the municipality of San Jàn.

Thanks to the 6-seats ‘Pozza-Buffaure’ cable car, you will be in a few minutes 2,063 metres, from which you can easily reach our refuges, to regenerate yourself with unmissable gastronomic specialities of Ladin and Trentino cuisine. Or discover our games and thematic trails dedicated to children, participate to weekly activities or admire the works of land art scattered throughout the area.

There are also several excursions that start here. From short walks in the basin to fascinating trails leading to Val Jumela and Val San Nicolò. With the chairlift, you can reach 2,354 metres, at the foot of the splendid ridges, from which you can admire a 360-degree panorama, unique in the world, with the Catinaccio Group, the Sella Group, the Marmolada and the unmistakable Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, and set off towards Sass d’Adam, Col Bel or the Passo San Nicolò refuge.

And if you are physically fit and don’t suffer from vertigo, you can equip yourself with harnesses and carabiners and test yourself on the legendary ‘I magnifici Quattro’ ferrata, one of the most difficult in the Dolomites.
